Facial Cupping. Professional Advice and General Guidelines.

Uncategorized Nov 28, 2020

Self Cupping is the best kept secret.  I have been a professional in this field for over two decades and some of my background you might not know about is that I grew up in the spa industry.  My mom owned award winning ayurvedic spas.   I also went to school for Esthetics, Massage, and Cosmetology.  That education and my background as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine - I believe I can give you the very best advice when it comes to all things cupping.  I am trained to look at your all over health and esthetics.  What I found with the marriage of the two is that when you look good you actually feel good.  Health Radiates.

That brings me into SELF CUPPING FOR THE FACE or FACIAL CUPPING.  The face can become dull, puffy, tired, inflamed, dehydrated, sunken, discolored, and gets knots ( adhesions ) just like the rest of the body.  Imbalances may create congestion, wrinkles, pain and even facial disfigurement.  With a...

BASIC AND THERAPEUTIC CUPPING

Are you wondering what’s all the fuss about?  Cupping is an ancient therapy that has amazing benefits and utilized all over the world.  Cupping has been used for centuries for chronic pain and other conditions dating back to the Egyptians and Ancient Greece.  Cupping can be self administered or with the aid of another person. The most typical type of cupping involves placing glass, silicone or plastic cups on the skin and creating a vacuum by suctioning out the air. The underlying tissue is raised, or sucked, partway into the cup. The purpose of cupping is to enhance circulation, help relieve pain, removes “heat” and other toxins that linger in your body’s tissues.

It facilitates healing by removing the fascia ( skin ) off the muscle.  There should be a thin layer of...

How the Pancreas Affects the Knee

Uncategorized Nov 01, 2020

The typical general practitioner will look at the body in two ways.  Eastern or Western  anatomy and physiology.  Collaborating with Spirit always takes it to a whole new level.  The idea that physical pain can have multiple influences and doesn't necessarily fit quite in with either the Eastern or Western take on Medicine.   Western Medicine is limited to whatever technology is available and Eastern Medicine can be convoluted because of its challenges understanding the proper translation.   That's why I love to work with Spirit.  Spirit doesn't care if you came up with the technology to identify it and it can translate whatever is going on into imagery, emotions and words in whatever language you prefer.

The reverberating message Spirit does bring is "EVERYTHING IS ENERGY".  Regardless of how big or small something is or how long it has been occuring. Change the energy and you change the frequency of how long you...

  • Spirit showed a few layers that would help with the prevention of injury and in no particular order:

The latissimus dorsi bilaterally ( both sides of the body ) were shown to have tension in aspect by the arms. The latissimus dorsi is a large, flat muscle covering the width of the middle and lower back. It connects the bone of the upper arm to the spine and the hip. This muscle is often referred to as the lats. Your location of tension was not the full muscle but half of it. The half located closest to your arms. It is wise to get this muscle stretched really well before and after playing golf.

  • Also at home treatments of cupping , stretching, massage, acupuncture or other hands on healing technique.

Another layer was old injury in muscles that are not fully healed so they are not working at full capacity. The following muscles require...
